LA Craft Experience is a event featuring unique vendors from all over Los Angeles. The show includes designers, crafters and artists specializing in unique, handmade, original or hard-to-find items.

What type of market is this?

LA Craft Experience showcases designers, artists and crafters throughout Los Angeles. Expect to meet and shop from vendors selling screen prints, jewelry, art, handmade soaps and candles, apparel, letterpress stationery, unique gifts, home décor, children’s gifts and accessories and many more! LACE is not a flea market or swap meet. All vendors are juried in based on the quality and uniqueness of their goods.

When and where will LA Craft Experience (LACE) be held?

On August 14th & 28th, LACE will be held alongside Chinatown Summer Nights at Chinatown’s Central Plaza from 5 p.m. to midnight. Starting October 9, 2010, LACE will be held at Chinatown’s Central Plaza every second Saturday of each month from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Central Plaza is located on N. Broadway between College Street and Bamboo Lane.

How many vendors will there be and how large are the crowds?

Each market has between 40-60 vendors. The crowds fluctuate month to month but are heaviest in the spring and summer months and also during the LACE holiday market in December. We expect a very large crowd during Chinatown Summer Nights. Chinatown is a historic area of downtown Los Angeles and is frequented often by tourists and Angelenos alike.

How much does it cost to attend? What about to be a vendor?

Admission to KCRW Presents: Chinatown Summer Nights and LACE is always free. Please click here for more information on being a LACE Vendor.

What about parking?

There is valet service, street parking, and plenty of designated event parking close to Chinatown’s Central Plaza. A free bike valet is available during Chinatown Summer Nights in collaboration with the LA County Bike Coalition.
